As part of this mission, TERI's Advanced Oxidation Technology (TADOX) emerges as a cutting-edge, eco-friendly treatment for municipal sludge, highly polluted industrial wastewater, and open drains. The technology has been selected for the Namami Gange project and offers an efficient, green, and cost-effective alternative to conventional treatment methods, ensuring zero liquid discharge (ZLD) and enhancing water reusability by up to 90%.

TERI Advanced Oxidation Technology (TADOX)

Treatment Process: Utilizes UV-Photocatalysis-based Advanced Oxidation for the oxidative degradation and mineralization of pollutants.
Application: Effective for the treatment of municipal sludge, industrial wastewater, and polluted open drains.
Compliance: Meets CPCB discharge norms for COD, BOD, POP, etc., and adheres to Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) regulations.

Eco-Friendly: The process is free from chemicals, sludge, and secondary pollution, reducing biofouling and improving the longevity of RO membranes.
High Efficiency: Achieves a hydraulic retention time that is both low and efficient, reducing CAPEX and OPEX by 30-40%.
