Specifications

  • Ambient Air Purification System (APS) are innovative solutions to remove the PM and gaseous matter from ambient air without requiring land footprint.
  • No use of consumables allowing flexibility of deployment either as a large-scale centralized system for hotspots or in a modular fashion to bring it closer to the people for very efficient reduction in the harmful exposure.
  • APS has three stage process namely Concentrator, Collector & Depositor & works on air dynamics principles to concentrate PM2.5 & PM10 & then capture them in collector; depositor is used for depositing PM and preventing them being airborne again.
  • APS is dynamically configurable and deployable on various platforms according to the ambient air.
  • The intelligent control system of APS automatically configures capacity & capability based on the ambient air quality.
  • The solutions are designed to reduce the harmful exposure and are deployable depending on the locations of the hotspots.
  • The control system could be on-board a mobile platform or static to ensure most optimum performance based on the ambient air quality, available resources and the performance expected.
  • APS is sustainable as it is developed with the focus on reducing dependency on Land, Electricity and filters replacements to minimise capital and operating expenditures.
  • APS is scalable, deployable and dynamically configurable according to the need to quickly bring pollution under control.

Deployment Scenarios

APS can be deployed, as needed, to a location, based on the availability of existing infrastructure such as industries & industrial Areas, hotspots in towns & cities, markets & high-density road corridors, schools & colleges, large indoors & semi-indoors like underground metro stations. The typical capacity for one such system will be equivalent to 150 smog towers for PM with additional capability for gaseous pollution removal without requiring Land footprint and additional electrical infrastructure.
