Specifications

  • Outdoor pollution has been tackled by several methods, one of them is to spray atomized mist which helps settle the file particulates. Atomized mist technology deals with tiny water droplets colliding with particles too small to see and dragging them to the ground. Larger droplets deliver surface suppression, without excessive pooling or saturation.
  • High pressure mist has several active areas of work including size of the particles, rate of mass flow for specific ambient concentrations. Mist has a cooling effect in the urban areas but clubbing its use for particulate suppression to optimise for both parameters has not been well assessed.
  • A misting system that sprays fine water mist to attract particulates and accelerate settling time thereby tackling the Particulate Matter (PM) from all sources and locally from loose soil or road dust, allergens etc. Current solutions not sustainable: Mist Cannons - Large droplet size, local impact, high cost of purchase and operation; Masks - Low compliance & poor usability; Smog Towers - Localised impact.
