EVI Technologies’ Role in EV Charging and Battery Swapping Infrastructure
EVI Technologies Private Limited (EVIT), an IIT Delhi alumni-founded company, is spearheading the development of EV charging infrastructure in India. Established in New Delhi and associated with Electropreneur Park and the Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer (FITT) at IIT Delhi, EVIT has been on a mission for nearly seven years to make electric vehicle (EV) charging accessible and efficient. With over 3,500 EV chargers deployed in 20+ states, EVIT’s chargers serve electric two-, three-, and four-wheelers with both AC (slow) and DC (fast) charging options ranging from AC 3kW to DC 120kW.
EVIT’s emphasis on “collaboration, not competition” has led to partnerships that have scaled its reach and impact across India. Through collaborations with organizations like BSNL, BSES Rajdhani, Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL), and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (HPCL), EVIT has brought its EV charging solutions to various regions, enhancing accessibility for urban and rural areas alike.
