DRIIV provides a comprehensive platform for validating cutting-edge technologies, working with experts from IIT Delhi, IIIT Delhi, AIIMS, and JNU to ensure their reliability and scalability. For instance, the Biomimicry-based water filtration system, branded "Urban Pure" by Biomimicry Technologies Private Limited, has been tested at sites like DTEA Senior Secondary School and Hauz Rani Park. Evaluations by the Water Technology Centre, ICAR-IARI, confirmed its efficacy in treating municipal wastewater, exemplifying DRIIV’s commitment to impactful, science-driven innovation. Under clean air initiatives, Project SAMEER brings together diverse stakeholders to tackle air pollution through validated solutions. Technologies like Airth’s Coated Electronic Air Cleaner (CEAC) for indoor air purification and ShudhVayu’s vehicle-mounted air cleaning systems have been validated by IIT Delhi experts. These pilots include deployments at ISBT Kashmere Gate and DPCC vehicles, generating data to support their scaling and wider adoption.
In sustainable waste management, DRIIV's tailored experts are addressing critical challenges through bio-mining innovations, waste-to-oil processes, and dry digestion methods for parali (stubble) burning. These technologies aim to reduce pollution while promoting circular economy practices for sustainable resource recovery.
